A DAY OF REMEMBRANCE
Monday, May 26, 10:00 a.m.
Carroll
County World War II hero Dwayne Pearson will be the guest
speaker at the second annual "A Day of Remembrance"

Time will be set aside during the ceremony to allow the

who gave the ultimate sacrifice for America's freedom.
Talented singer Brittany Washburn will provide music for
the occasion and McKenzie's own firefighters and police
officers will post and retire the Colors after the placing
of the wreath at the Carroll County War Memorial. Taps
will be performed by Kate Hames and Christy Lowe.

be held at the conclusion of the ceremonies with members
of VFW Post No. 4939 Ladies Auxiliary serving as
hostesses. Special entertainment will be provided by local
