Loretta H. Edmonson
1956-2004
MCKENZIE: Services for Loretta Hurt Edmonson, 47,
were at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 20 at Greater Enon
Missionary Baptist Church in McKenzie with the Rev.
James Stewart officiating. Interment followed in Mt.
Olivet Cemetery.
Mrs. Edmonson died on Thursday, September 16 at McKenzie
Regional Hospital following an extended illness. She was
a member of Greater Enon Missionary Baptist Church.
She was born in Huntingdon on December 30, 1956. Her
parents, Jimmy Melton of Huntingdon and Grace Hurt
Bradford of Newark, New Jersey, survive.
Survivors also include one daughter, Danika Edmonson of
Huntingdon; three sons, Terrance Hurt of Memphis, James
Edmonson of Milan and Jason Edmonson of McKenzie; five
sisters, Diane Melton, Annetta McFadden and Priscilla
Taylor, all of Huntingdon, Mary Milton of Milan and
Monica Melton of Hollow Rock; one brother, Jimmy Melton
of Huntingdon and five grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by one sister, Vickie Melton.
Trinity Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
William Kelley Dill, Sr.
1938-2004
MCKENZIE: Services for William Kelley Dill, Sr., 66,
were held Sunday, September 19 at Brummitt Funeral Home.
The body was cremated.
Mr. Dill died Thursday, September 16 at McKenzie
Regional Hospital.
He was born March 7, 1938 to the late William Clyde and
Mary Margaret Smith Dill. He was a graduate of McKenzie
High School and served in the United States Air Force
for 15 years. He received a degree from CCBI and
Syracuse University. He was a retired employee of UPS, a
member of the USA Presbyterian Church, American Legion,
Syracuse, New York. Mr. Dill resided in Syracuse for 27
years before returning to McKenzie.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Margie W. Dill;
one daughter, Pamela D. McCuen of Gulf Breeze, Florida;
one son, William K. Dill, Jr. of Syracuse, New York; one
sister, Barbara Shiney of McKenzie; three sisters, Ben
Dill of Springville, Sam Dill of Indianapolis, Indiana
and Danny Dill of Memphis; five grandchildren, Ryan
McCuen, Amber Dill, Joy McCuen, William Dill, III and
Josh McCuen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials
be made to the USA Presbyterian Church, 591 Stonewall
Street, McKenzie.
Auddie Elroy Wade
1924-2004
PARIS: Services for Auddie Elroy Wade, 79, were at
2:00 p.m., Monday, September 20 at LeDon Chapel Ridgeway
Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Janner officiating.
Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mr. Wade, a machine operator for 30 years at Holley
Carburetor Plant, died Saturday, September 18 at Henry
County Medical Center in Paris.
He was born October 19, 1924 in Paris to the late
Charles Mathis Wade and Flora Estell Powell. He was a
World War II army veteran and a member of the Cumberland
Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife Monell Long Wade; a sister,
Mary Charlene Chappell of Bradford; several nieces and
nephews and distant family in McKenzie and Trezevant.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Lillian Frances
McDavid Goad and a brother, Charles Wesley Wade, Sr.
Patricia Louise Williams
1944-2004
LAVINIA: Patricia Louise Williams, 60, died Monday,
September 13 at her home. There were no services; she
was cremated and buried with her mother in Patoka,
Indiana.
She was born April 21, 1944 in Princeton, Indiana to the
late Mary and Ferrald Howell.
She married Bill Williams in Harlan, Kentucky September
10, 1959.
Survivors include two aunts and uncles, Marge and Jerry
Howell and Mary and Paul Alvis; six sisters, Barbara
Cammack, Beverly Feretti, Sue Cepek, Joann Perna, Mary
Rose Talkowski, and Jean Lehnen; two brothers, Joe
Wleklinski and Billy Wleklinski; and a host of nieces
and nephews.
Harold Edwards Vaughn
1938-2004
YUMA: Services for Harold Edwards Vaughn, 66, were
conducted on Thursday, September 16 at 11:00 a.m. in the
Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Father Victor
officiating. Interment followed in the Davis Chapel
Cemetery.
Mr. Vaughn was born January 12, 1938 to the late Wayne
and Ernestine Brewer Vaughn. He was a truck driver for
MS Carriers.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Vaughn of Nepirville,
Illinois; five sons, Ricky Vaughn, Gary Vaughn, both of
Tennessee, Raymond Vaughn of Chicago, Illinois and David
Vaughn and Danny Vaughn, both of Lemont, Illinois; three
stepsons, Michael Lata of Bowling Brook, Illinois,
Joseph Lata of Lockport, Illinois and John Lata of
Lombard, Illinois; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Coleman of
Salt Lake City, Utah; one brother, Michael Thomas of

Susan Marie Britt
1958-2004
REAGAN: Services for Susan Marie Britt, 46, were
conducted on Thursday, September 16 at 3:00 p.m. in the
Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Andy White and
Brother Tim Green officiating. Interment followed in
Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Lexington.
Mrs. Britt died Tuesday, September 14 at the Lexington
General Hospital.
She was born April 6, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to the
late Robert Henry and Lucille Marie Smith Cary. She was
a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Chalina Reena Britt of
Adamsville; one son, Tommy Blake Singleton of
Clarksburg; two sisters, Janette Singleton of Cedar
Grove and Rebecca Zurofsky of Lexington; two
half-brothers, Michael Smith of Hollow Rock and David
Smith of McKenzie and three grandchildren.

Minnie Louise Webb
1912-2004
PARIS: Services for Minnie Louise Webb, 92, were at
10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 21 at McEvoy Funeral Home
with the Rev. Paul Veazey officiating. Interment
followed in Walker Cemetery.
Mrs. Webb died Saturday, September 18 at her residence.
She was the widow of Earlie Lee Webb, who preceded her
in death on March 15, 1972. She retired after 25 years
with Holley Carburetor plant and was a Baptist.
She was born on September 15, 1912 in McKenzie to the
late Henry and Dora Tummins Holland.
Survivors include two daughters, Helen Lee and Loretta
Randazzo, both of Paris; two sons, David E. Webb and
Freddie Webb, both of Paris and eight grandchildren.
Bobby Gene DePriest
1942-2004
HUNTINGDON: Services for Bobby Gene DePriest, 61,
will be conducted on Wednesday, September 22 at 2:00
P.M. in the Dilday Funeral Home Chapel with Brother
Richard Allen and Johnny Hawkins officiating. Interment
will follow in the Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. DePriest died on Monday, September 20 at the
Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
He was born September 22, 1942 in Carroll County to the
late Sylvester and Letta Beal DePriest. He was a truck
driver and a member of the Huntingdon Masonic Lodge. He
was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Allen.
Survivors include his wife of 42 year, Virginia Ruth
Rich DePriest; three sons, Phillip DePriest, Albert
DePriest and Kelly DePriest, all of Huntingdon; two
brothers, Edward DePriest and Joe DePriest, both of
Huntingdon; two sisters, Faye Carter and Frances
Robinson, both of Huntingdon; one grandson; one
step-granddaughter and four step-grandsons.
